Get ready for a seasonful of arts and craft fairs, where you’ll have the opportunity to find all things Expedition Subahara. Whether you’ve had your eye on baskets, placemats, a hamper, jewelry or a clutch, we’ve got you covered! We can’t wait to see you at one or more of our November events!

The What: O'Fallon (Illinois) Panther Band Boosters 38th Annual Art and Craft Fair
The When: Saturday, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Where: O’Fallon Township High School District 203, 600 Smiley St., O’Fallon, Illinois
About: A Metro-East tradition, this annual art and craft fair features 350 booths with talented artists and crafters from across the region. This fair is one of the largest and well-known in the St. Louis, Metro-East area.
The What: John Burroughs School: A Unique Boutique
The When: Saturday, Nov. 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Where: John Borroughs School, 755 S. Price Road, Ladue, Missouri
About: A popular community event and school fundraiser, this art and fine crafts fair will feature original artwork, jewelry and gifts from over 60 local and national artisans, including yours truly!
The What: Market Day Iowa
The When: Black Friday, Nov. 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  
The Where: Capital Square Atrium, 400 Locust Street, Des Moines, Iowa.
About: A curated pop-up market featuring artist and crafters from around the Midwest. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event showcasing goods from independent makers.
The What: Bowood Makers Market
The When: Saturday, Nov. 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  
The Where: Bowood Farms, 4605 Olive Street, St. Louis, Mo.
About: Celebrate Small Business Saturday with local makers who will set up shop in The Studio at Bowood. Support the local creative community and find unique gifts for yourself or someone special!
And Finally, to cap off November…
The What: Week-long residency at The Novel Neighbor
The When: Nov. 25 to 30 (store hours)
The Where:The Novel Neighbor Independent Bookstore, 7905 Big Bend Blvd., Webster Groves
About: Expedition Subsahara will spend the week visiting Novel Neighbors. Fill up a handcrafted basketful of good books for yourself or a loved one! We also will have plenty of other handmade Senegalese goodness for you to get your hands on, just in time for the holiday season!
