Shipping & Returns
If an item is in stock, it typically ships within 5 days and arrives within 5 days of shipping. Because products are hand made, they take some time to create. When items are out of stock, we don’t take it off the site, but put the item directly into preorder. Please check the item description, which will say when it’s expected to ship.
If your item is in stock, it could take up to five days for processing and packaging before it’s shipped with three-day shipping. Please go to the product page to make sure that your selection is not a preorder item. If it is, see above for the preorder process. If your item is not preorder, you will receive a text or email with tracking information once your item ships.
We want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase. If you are unhappy for any reason, we accept returns for store credit and exchanges within 10 days of delivery. Products must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition with the tag and packaging still attached.
Customers are responsible for return shipping and handling charges. Please provide a tracking code for returns so that proof of delivery can be verified. No returns or exchanges will be processed after 10 days have passed.
After receipt of your return, we will refund the purchase amount as store credit. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for this request to be processed. You will receive an email including your gift card code, issued as store credit.
The following items are final sale and do not qualify for return or exchange: discounted and promotional items, earrings, and bracelets.
Expedition Subsahara takes great care to package your items to ensure they arrive safely. Please kindly pack fragile items with the protective materials that you received with your package. Please also note that items must arrive to us as undamaged, unwashed, and unused or they will not be eligible for a return or exchange. All shipping costs are non-refundable. To cancel an order, please contact us at email@example.com. If your order has not shipped, we will make every effort to accommodate your request. However, if your order has shipped, we cannot authorize a cancellation. In this case, please follow the steps above under returns.

Damage sometimes occurs in the shipping process, though we do our best to make sure all items arrive in perfect condition. If you happen to receive a damaged item in your order, please do the following:
All damages must be reported within 48 hours of receiving the item. Please email us right away. We will arrange replacement or return of the damaged item.
Please know that our items are each made by hand and one-of-a-kind. They may each vary from item to item, and may have slight imperfections – that's what makes them unique! These imperfections are not considered damage.
