As someone who has been to East Africa many times, I have fallen in love with the continent. I love everything about Africa, especially the hand crafted baskets. I have desire a large one for many years and when I first saw these, I knew it would be perfect. Is it expensive? Yes, Is it worth it? Yes! I know, first hand the work that goes into these and it is worth every penny. When I finally was able to purchase one, I could not wait to receive it. If you have never smell an hand woven African basket, you are in for a sweet treat. :)
