Generations of Senegalese weaving expertise has been passed down to create this exquisite hamper basket. Full of culture, this basket is crafted using a coil-style weaving technique with locally-harvested elephant grass and recycled plastic to build depth on top of texture. The Taya is perfect to tuck away toys, pillows and blankets, or as a laundry hamper.

Will have slight variations in design and size as this is a one-of-a-kind handmade product

*Due to overwhelming customer feedback, we have recently changed our storage baskets' sizes (but not the dimensions) to S, M, L instead of L, XL, and XXL. It's the exact sizes you love, just a different name to make it easier. We love you, and thank you for your feedback!

Spot clean using minimal water. Dab using a paper towel or cloth. Let sit dry completely before storing. Do not place in direct sunlight for long periods of time.

Because we are a small business and we operate with a small team, it
can take up to 5 days to process your order regardless of the shipping
method you choose at checkout. Once the order is processed, we ship
using the method you selected. Most orders take 7-10 business days to
arrive at your location via UPS.

We ship Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m CST. We do not ship on weekends or nationally recognized US holidays.

I sent my Daphne a medium sized taya basket. it is stunning and perfect. as we live in different states, she called to thank me for the beautiful basket. she was absolutely thrilled and I'm thrilled for her. now I just need to get one for myself!

I bought this for my spare room, but it’s so beautiful that I want to display it in my living room. And it smells amazing because of the grasses used in the fabrication! I guess I’ll have to buy another!

Stunning Basket!

The Taya Hamper Basket is the most beautiful item in my home. It is sturdy, functional, and breathtakingly beautiful. I use mine to store throw blankets, but the possibilities are endless. I just love the amount of storage that such a beautiful piece of art can provide.
