Generations of Senegalese weaving expertise has been passed down to create this exquisite hamper basket. Full of culture, this basket is crafted using a coil-style weaving technique with locally-harvested elephant grass and recycled plastic to build depth on top of texture. The Zalipah is perfect to tuck away toys, pillows and blankets, or as a large laundry hamper.

Made to order and ships in 4 weeks

Because we are a small business and we operate with a small team, it
can take up to 5 days to process your order regardless of the shipping
method you choose at checkout. Once the order is processed, we ship
using the method you selected. Most orders take 7-10 business days to
arrive at your location via UPS.

We ship Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m CST. We do not ship on weekends or nationally recognized US holidays.

Spot clean using minimal water. Dab using a paper towel or cloth. Let sit dry completely before storing. Do not place in direct sunlight for long periods of time.

Just received our large basket. It’s perfect - beautiful, sturdy and unique. We will use it for a clothes hamper in our master bedroom. I thought about the purchase for a year and I couldn’t be happier!

This basket is gorgeous and the perfect size. Not as big as the XL, but still fits a good number of items inside.
